At Building Blocks we believe that all children deserve love, attention, and nurturing.  We believe that a safe environment allows children to explore and grow.  We allow children to have hands-on experiences. This fosters age appropriate development.  We read to the children everyday.  We believe  that positive reinforcement is important for children to develop self-esteem.  Children need an environment that supports free expression and stimulates learning.  Most importantly, however, We believe that children need to have fun!  We have done many on going Science projects such as observing the life cycle of Butterflies.  Raising them from Caterpillars to Butterflies then releasing them.  We have also raised tadpoles to frogs.  Children learn best from experiencing the world around them.

At Building Blocks we recognize that you have a difficult schedule and support parents the best we can.  We recognize the importance of work and the stress and demands placed on parents.  We strive to make it easier on parents by giving them the knowledge that their children are in good hands. Every child is unique and we believe that success and growth come from encouragement and praise.  Our teachers focus on building every child's self esteem and confidence through positive reinforcement.  We nurture their natural strengths.  A child see's the world  around them with wonder and awe, we believe in encouraging their natural curiosity.
